You usually lose weight for two reasons, to look better and feel better. Exercise
In reality it all depends on what your normal daily activity level is that will determine how much exercise will be effective for you to lose weight. Start out slow and build your way up and remember, that to much exercise to quickly can be dangerous and even fatal.
A brisk walk around the block once a day should be sufficient to get your system going and help you lose weight if you are used to sitting behind a desk all day and the most exercise you normally get in a day is the walk from your house to your car in the morning. Watch What You Eat
Just about any quick weight loss tips involve cutting back or cutting down on the junk food. Any quick weight loss tips that are successful will involve cutting way back on the amount of sugar and sweets that you eat even if some people don’t want to hear it. If you drink soda then try and reduce your consumption to 1 or 2 drinks a day. All junk food like candy and cookies need to be cut out completely. You are in a better position to lose some serious weight quickly if you add these to your quick weight loss tips.
You would be shocked at how much weight you will lose if you just cut out the sweets you don’t even realize you are eating on a daily basis. That candy bar you eat for energy in the afternoons can get replaced with an apple or banana and then watch the pounds fall off.
Will Power

Want to Hear About On Line Weight Loss Programs - Maybe Not!

At first, everyone wants to learn about the on line weight loss programs that you tried and the one that is actually working for you. They even commit to find out more about the Kimkins Diet Plan that has worked so successfully for me. But that’s when the excuses begin - too strict, can’t drink, love pasta, maybe start a week next Tuesday, and the list goes on.
A Fast Weight Loss Can Come with a “Small” Price
I do my best not to flaunt my lost pounds or become “preachy” about dieting. But with successful weight loss, comes a sort of burden I noticed. It seems to come more from my friends that are 40-100+ pounds overweight. Perhaps it’s just human nature, but the more weight you lose, the less support you seem to receive from friends (especially the overweight ones!).
Part of the issue comes from sticking to my diet at social functions when everyone else is eating at will. Of course, I remember that this was me only six months ago, and this was the practice that was one of the root causes of my weight problem in the first place.
That’s All You’re Eating?!
When I go out to eat with my friends, I’m starting to get the heavy sighs when I order, and have to look at their “concerned” faces. Is this low carb diet really healthy for you? You don’t want to get sick, do you (heaven forbid)? Or maybe they are just uncomfortable with the fact that they know they should be eating exactly what I am and losing those unhealthy pounds!
I can tell that some of them change what they were going to order at lunch after they hear what I am ordering – maybe because they feel guilty eating in front of me, or more likely, that they feel guilty ordering “big butt” food, as we call it.
If You Don’t Want to Hear About My Fast Weight Loss, Don’t Ask
If they ask about the on line weight loss programs I have tried, I will tell them my experiences with them. But if they don’t ask, mum’s the word! Most people know what unhealthy habits they need to change, and don’t need to be reminded.
So, as you too experience the satisfaction of quick weight loss, you may also run into this kind of “friendly” pressure. But for me, I just stay focused and am happy losing weight with my effective weight loss diet plan (Kimkins) and just letting them be uncomfortable.
At this point, the alternative is unthinkable!
P.S. - And by the way, I wish I really did look like the woman in the picture in the upper left corner!

Losing Inches and Dropping Sizes with my Quick Weight Loss Diet

Speaking of losing inches from my quick weight loss diet, I’m dropping clothes sizes like mad. A couple of months ago when I was in Florida, I bought a bunch of new clothes. I fit pretty well into a pair of size 16 Petite jeans, and picked up 14 Petites and 12 Short Jeans just for inspiration.
Well the size 16’s are going to charity this week and I’m wearing the 12 Short Jeans. The size 12’s are actually fitting a little loose. Hurray! I never even got a chance to wear the size 14 Petites. Perhaps wasted money, but well worth it!
I do understand now that Petites are cut smaller, because the size 10 Petites are really tight. But it just amazes me that I could drop these sizes and not really lose the actual pounds that I thought would be needed to fit into these smaller sizes.
Remember, I was in a stall (hit a weight plateau) just a few weeks ago. Go figure! Just more proof that a quick weight loss diet like Kimkins can make such a difference in your life, your health, and your attitude!

A Quick Weight Loss Lesson

Sorry to be gone so long. I was in a major stall (Kimkins diet “speak” for stuck at the same weight) and just didn’t have it in me to post on the blog. In actuality, I let myself fall into a pattern of eating a lot of salads as meals. I chose mostly Caesar salads without the croutons and with grilled chicken. I would always ask for the dressing on the side, but that didn’t seem to cut it.
The funny part is that the salads were never more than two cups, but I the scary thing was that I could actually feel cravings for carbs coming back. I wasn’t starving, but suddenly odd cravings for sweets – things I haven’t even thought of in months were popping into my head.
Dill Pickles to the Rescue
A friend suggested that I eat a dill pickle spear to ward off the cravings. I took the suggestion and it really works. But now I know why pickles are not a basic staple of the Kimkin Diet. I didn’t lose a fraction of a pound! The good news was that I didn’t gain anything either. I thought I was being relatively good – so this was very frustrating.
The bottom line — I lost about two weeks worth of progress during the last month messing around with all of this. Part of the problem was that I had some back trouble and maybe I was feeling sorry for myself. Another problem was that my friends were showing up at my work and wanting to go out lunch. The bad news was that I really wanted to go with them!
Stay Active in the Kimkin Diet Community
I’m sure another thing that really contributed to the lapse is that I basically went dark on the Internet and the Kimkims Diet website (in particular, the Kimkins forum). Since I couldn’t really sit up in comfort, I couldn’t post on the forum or even surf the Net. Shame on me - I didn’t update my ticker, track my foods or even my weight. I did weigh myself everyday though, but now I have a big hole in my Fitday Software.
If there is one quick weight loss lesson to be learned: Don’t go off the grid, it’s too easy to get sidetracked and lose your diet focus!!!!!
