The Cost of Quick Weight Loss Diet Plans

If you are like me, you have tried every one of the quick weight loss diet plans on the planet. Some count calories, some count carbs, and others are just derivatives of all the others. They are all packaged up and given a “cute” name and marketed to the masses.

The one really consistent factor about these quick weight loss plans is that they all cost a pretty penny. Almost all of the diet plan marketers have converted to some sort of monthly fee, and some even charge a hefty start-up fee as well.

Is There A Possible Conflict Here?

Well, here’s the rub as I see it! With so many quick weight loss plans earning their revenues from monthly memberships fees, what is their incentive to have us, their trusted dieters, lose all of our weight? None at all!

Because once we have met our weight loss goal, we can usually cancel our membership and go on a maintenance meal plan without the help of the diet program.

But, as the diet promoters view the financial aspects of their program, the slower we lose our weight, the longer we will maintain our memberships and the more revenues they will make from us. Another way to look at it is that their slow weight loss diet process is costing us a fortune!

Kimkins Diet Plan to the Rescue!

Besides Kimkins great track record and highly effective quick weight loss diet plan, the cost to join their program was a TREMENDOUS bargain. They charge a one-time fee ($60 at present) for a LIFETIME membership - no monthly fees or annual fees like so many others. And their membership fee is the lowest I have seen for a major weight loss program. If you want to see a comparison of the costs, check out the below chart and don’t forget to grab on to your wallet or purse:

The Kimkin diet program is really a “deal of a lifetime”. I would be happy to pay their membership fee just to have access to their forums and friendly “challenges”. With all of the support I get from the forum members and motivation from the weight loss “challenges”, this feature alone is priceless in my opinion.

So, if you are tired of getting ripped off by other quick weight loss diet plans, why not check out the Kimkins Diet website and see if you don’t agree that this is one of the best, most affordable weight loss programs around?

Try These Tuna Muffins as a Special Low Carb Meal

This low carb diet recipe was a pleasant surprise as these muffins were very tasty and pretty darn convenient. Of course, I used canned tuna in the recipe (rather than the salmon) as this is one of my favorite fish. I am sure that they would have been just as scrumptious if I had used canned salmon – it’s your preference.

The Old Bay Tuna Muffins were very filling and extremely flavorful. I made them in a regular muffin tin and they seemed to be just the right size for my low carbohydrate diet plan. Here is the quick and simple recipe:

Old Bay Tuna or Salmon Muffins Ingredients

    • 2 – 6 oz. Cans of salmon or tuna (drained)
    • 2 – Eggs
    • Salt & Pepper to Taste
    • 2 tsps. – McCormick Old Bay Seasoning

    Spice It Up (Optional):

    • ¼ cup – Chopped Celery
    • 2 tbs. – Chopped Onion
    • ¼ cup – Chopped Green Peppers
    • 2 oz. – Shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

1) Mix all ingredients together thoroughly

2) Pour in to well-greased muffin pan

3) Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees, or until puffed and top is light brown

There you have it – a simple yet delicious tuna (or salmon) muffin that should certainly be added to anyone’s quick weight loss diet plans. And once you tasted one of these delectable meal treats, I wouldn’t be surprised if they didn’t become one of your low carb favorites, too. They’re definitely on my list!

high protien and low carbohydrate dietI would like to welcome you to the Low Carb Magic blog where I will be posting my personal experiences with off line and on line weight loss programs. I am the proverbial weight loss junkie who can’t seem to lose weight consistently or manage to keep it off once I lose it. I know that there are thousands, if not millions, of other women who are facing the same dilemma with weight loss.

Trust me; I have tried all the popular diet plans; the Atkins diet, South Beach Diet, Weight Watchers, and the list goes on. I have searched high and low for the best diet programs and products, and believe that the low carb diet is one of the most effective quick weight loss plans. I am afraid that the slower, drawn out diet plans provide too many opportunities to “fall off the wagon” and once frustration sets in due to slow weight loss gains, it’s all over!

I am presently on the Kimkins low carbohydrate diet and will share my progress and feelings about the effectiveness of this weight loss plan. I have even added a few of my own modifications that seem to help me get over the rough spots or break through the weight loss plateaus that most of us encounter.

So, if you have been wondering if a high protein and low carbohydrate diet works, why not bookmark our blog and come back often to watch my progress and get the latest tips and tribulations on low carb dieting.

And please don’t feel shy about adding your comments to any of my posts. I do welcome all suggestions and feedback that would be of interest to the other readers. The more participation and low carb diet information we have, the more useful everyone will find the blog. And who knows, we may even lose a few pounds together along the way!
Hope to see you back soon!
